Sharing of content by users who have previously mentioned or tagged NEXUS TELECOM on social media

To implement the necessary measures to prevent and detect any misuse of the website or potential fraud relating to the purchase or booking of products and services that could affect NEXUS TELECOM itself or its customers. If any potential fraudulent activities relating to the payment for products and services are detected, NEXUS TELECOM may disclose information regarding the affected transaction and the identifying details of the person who carried it out to the operator of the payment platform used and, where appropriate, to the relevant public authorities so that the necessary measures may be taken in each case.

Monitoring of access to the interior of shops and offices for the purposes of prevention and customer guidance, and compliance with internal regulations, checking the condition and operation of general facilities in shops and offices; the provision, where contracted with security companies, of surveillance and protection services for persons and property; and the verification of alarm triggers via cameras installed in shops or offices (alarm management services) for the purpose of transferring and communicating such information to the competent police or judicial authorities.

Categories of personal data processed: images captured by video surveillance systems.

Legal basis: The primary legal basis for the processing is the public interest, in that the video surveillance system is used to ensure the safety of people, property and facilities. However, the legitimate interest of the data controller may also serve as a legal basis.

III. What criteria do we use to determine the retention periods for your personal data?

Depending on the purpose for which we process your personal data, the applicable retention criteria are as follows:

  • Management of the contractual relationship arising from the purchase or booking of products and services: for as long as the contractual relationship with you regarding the purchase or booking of products and services remains in force.
  • Customer service: for as long as necessary to manage and respond to your request, complaint, incident or claim.

  • Use of cookies and similar technologies: the information will be processed for as long as the consent given by users for the installation of cookies on their device remains valid.
  • Compliance with legal obligations: personal data will remain blocked for as long as NEXUS TELECOM may be held legally liable for compliance with its legal obligations.
  • CCTV images captured by CCTV systems will be retained for a period of thirty (30) days.
